We know the feeling: You need less on your list, not more. Yet you also probably promised yourself this is the year you get back into reading, that you pick up a copy of an actual book (or, okay, download one) to see what the influencers and hustlers in your work world are saying with a word count longer than their social media soundbites. Don’t worry – we have a solution!

Introducing Overbooked, our new book club at March Communications. Every quarter, we’ll select a hot new release with a technology innovation theme to read together, whether you’re here in our Boston or Chicago offices or following along from wherever your job and life take you.

At the end of the quarter, we’ll feature a lively discussion of the selected book on an episode of our podcast, Hacks & Flacks. You’ll have a chance to share your questions and thoughts on our social media before we record, so follow us on LinkedIn to add to the conversation.

Ready to read along? Our debut selection is Conversational Marketing by our friends at Drift, David Cancel & Dave Gerhardt. It hit shelves late last month and already is trending at #1 in the Amazon Commerce list. In the bestseller, Cancel & Gerhardt share how the power of conversational marketing and communicating in real-time can improve the customer experience, generate more leads and help convert those leads into customers. That’s powerful information in today’s world, where we are realizing the radical shift in the way we buy goods and services – whether you’re talking B2B or consumer.

Start reading today and watch for our first book club discussion podcast episode here on the blog, dropping on Thursday, March 28. We can’t wait to get Overbooked with you!

P.S. Did you receive an invite to our first March Innovators Collective event? On Thursday, March 7, Dave Gerhardt – the coauthor of our book club selection, Conversational Marketing, and VP of Marketing at Drift – will be our featured speaker. He’s joined by Jeanne Hopkins (CMO, Lola.com) and Jessica Meher (VP Marketing, Notarize) for a panel Q&A. It’s sure to be a knockout afternoon of conversation and connecting with Boston’s leading brand builders. Email Judy if you’d like to be added to the waiting list, as spots are filling quickly for this intimate gathering. #MarchxDrift
