Welcome to the Coverage Catch-Up, where, each week, we’ll highlight some of the top pieces of recent coverage we secured for our clients.

June 19 VentureBeat CMSWire Financial PostThis week’s big client news focuses on 3Q Digital, BrandProtect and Proxama. We not only secured a write up for our client’s VP of Mobile Strategy in a top-tier publication, we also placed a targeted byline for our client’s CMO in a well-known publication. Lastly, we secured two in-person briefings for a client that resulted in an impressive article, which included numerous quotes from the VP of Sales.

The 3Q Digital team recently engaged in proactive outreach by offering  Craig Weinberg, VP of Mobile Strategy at 3Q Digital, as a spokesperson to provide his thoughts on Pinterest’s recent announcement of the ‘Buy It’ button. As a result, Barry Levine, Senior Writer at VentureBeat, participated in a briefing with Craig and afterward summed up their conversation in a VentureBeat article: “Apple to Brands: Step Up Your Game.” This visibility for 3Q Digital was outstanding, as VentureBeat reaches more than 6.5 million unique readers per month. In addition to this piece being shared 380 times on social since going live last week, VentureBeat has also tweeted the article to its 510,000 followers.

The BrandProtect team drafted and facilitated the placement of a byline from BrandProtect’s CMO, Greg Mancusi-Ungaro, “6 Ways to Cope With a Scary Social World,” in the tier one publication CMSWire. The byline, which focuses on six tips that businesses and consumers can use to keep themselves safe from online threats, was tweeted to CMSWire’s 49,500 followers and puts BrandProtect’s name in front of a technical and influential base of readers. This is a great hit for BrandProtect as CMSWire serves more than 275,000 unique visitors per month.

After the Proxama team set up two in-person briefings for the client in Toronto, one with Rob MacMillan, Proxama’s VP of Marketing, and one with Ricky Ranjan, Proxama’s VP of Sales, North America, Christina Pellegrini of the Financial Post included multiple quotes from Ricky in her June 17 article on the mobile payments market in Canada, “Information Overload Stymies Canada’s Banks in Mobile Payments Battleground: ‘Things are Changing So Quickly’.” The article shows that Proxama is at the forefront of the mobile payments industry in Canada, acting as the company assisting both banks that want to take it slow, and ones that want to jump right into mobile payments. It was great to see Proxama featured in the Financial Post, as the company would like to gain visibility in Canada and this publication’s website attracts around 536,000 unique monthly visitors.
